Customer Service Officer

With local autonomy and the freedom to act to satisfy their customers’ needs, the ANZ operation has doubled sales in the last 5 years and are on track to double again in the next 5 years.

They are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Customer Service Officer to join their high performing team on a temp to perm basis, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business. 

The Role:

Reporting to an empowering and caring Customer Service Manager, this front-line position is fast-paced and diverse, with no two days the same. You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of new and existing customers, as well as supporting the local sales team and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Responding proactively and professionally to inbound inquiries from customers around Australia and providing accurate and timely pricing and availability information for products and services
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently
  • Completing quotes and managing the Sales Order process through to delivery
  • Ensuring customers expected delivery dates are maintained and any changes are communicated with all involved stakeholders
  • Providing first-level technical information and product support to customers
  • Ensuring Warranty claims are investigated and resolved within a timely manner
  • Completing various administrative tasks – new customer applications, pricing change requests, processing claims and credit returns, and updating customer information in the CRM  

Your Profile:

You are a passionate and high-energy professional, who has proven experience in an Internal Sales or Customer Service role, ideally within a similar manufacturing environment. You will be a strong and confident communicator and have the ability to multitask and reprioritise when business demands are changed.  You enjoy partnering with your customers to provide exceptional service and have the ability to build long-lasting, trusted relationships. Prior experience with SAP is essential.

In addition, you are a self-motivated and reliable team member and enjoy taking ownership of your work and proactively managing your workflow. Your positive approach and high level of flexibility will see you succeed in this exciting opportunity with this rapidly growing, international icon in their respected field.
