Project Engineer – Roads

Our client is a long standing civil infrastructure business that have an excellent reputation for delivering complex civil projects to a high standard, and are now searching for a Project Engineer – Roads, on a contract basis to support the infrastructure group across the region, ensuring they meet the current and future needs of their clients.
 
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer – Roads, plays a pivotal role in managing and optimising road infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of project engineering tasks, from providing engineering expertise to procurement, planning, subcontractor management, site supervision and project budget management.
You will work collaboratively to enhance the efficiency, quality and sustainability of the civil infrastructure projects, which include sealed and unsealed road infrastructure projects, whilst fostering excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
 
The successful person will be degree qualified in civil engineering, have relevant experience in a similar type of project engineering role and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the planning, design, construction and operation of road network infrastructure.
Candidates must also hold a current Driver’s Licence.
 
This is a contract role and attracts an attractive remuneration package for the successful candidate.
