Quality & Warranty Manager

We are working with a leading manufacturer that has built a reputation for quality and providing exceptional service to its clients. Currently, they are looking for a Quality and Warranty Manager to join their team.

A hands-on manager, you will manage a small team and be responsible for maintaining the quality management system and managing the warranty process, with a focus on cost reduction and claim resolution.

More specifically, the role will involve:

Quality Responsibilities
Drive compliance and process improvements across a comprehensive quality assurance program.
Develop and maintain quality control procedures, including monitoring and assessment of products, inspection and audits and documentation.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Warranty Responsibilities
Establish and maintain an effective Warranty Policy, including the establishment of procedures and processes to actively support the Warranty claims of customers.
Plan and direct claims management in a timely manner, including high priority situations, root cause analysis and examining evidence to determine claims outcomes.
Providing technical support to sales and internal teams, allowing for a better education to customers on what is involved in the warranty process.

To be successful in this role, you will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline and have proven experience in managing warranty processes and quality systems. It is essential you will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as this will allow you to work with the vast array of stakeholders that are involved in this role.

Experience with ISO 9001 is highly advantageous.
