National Sales Manager

Committed to delivering customer focused solutions, and having a strong partnership with their end users, they have a unique opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to join them, with the option to be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the national sales strategy and be responsible for the leadership and overall management of the national sales and sales support team.
You will collaborate closely with the team and client base to achieve sales budget, growth targets, ensure profitability and margin levels, secure and grow market share and improve on current internal systems to improve efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan aligned with company objectives and production capability
- Identifying emerging market trends and opportunities for product growth, while you keep abreast of market trends, product trends, client strategy, and competitor activity
- Managing and developing the sales team to achieve sales quotas
- Analysing sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales initiatives
- Providing accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the executive team
- Developing and driving promotional campaigns and marketing solutions
- Monthly sales forecasting and reporting
With a strong focus on LEAN principles and a culture that embrace change and creativity, your role will also involve actively participating in continual improvements relating to the Sales and Marketing systems and processes.
Your Profile:
You are a seasoned National Sales Manager with a proven track record of driving strategic sales outcomes and elevating team performance. As an experienced leader with a collaborative and consultative style, you consistently enhance team engagement and thrive in fast-paced, progressive environments. You have exceptional communication and influencing skills, and the ability to build and nurture long standing relationships with key stakeholders. You are driven by a passion for success and growth, going above and beyond when partnering with your customers to provide exceptional levels of service. Given the level of autonomy in this role, it is imperative you have strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritise when business demands are changed.
