Fire Service Coordinator
Our client is a national organisation and provider of complex engineering and technical services. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking and experienced Fire Service Coordinator to join their high-performing team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Reporting to a collaborative and supportive manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the field activities of the fire service division, taking ownership of the planning, scheduling and coordination of technicians.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Scheduling, coordinating and dispatching technicians to undertake inspection, service and repairs
- Monitoring AFSS due dates and submissions
- Ensuring jobs are compliant with industry standards
- Raising and monitoring Work Orders
- Creating Purchase Orders for parts and materials
- Invoicing of maintenance and quoted jobs
- Assisting in the day-to-day operation of the team and ad hoc duties as required
Our ideal candidate will have;
- Previous experience within the fire protection industry and prior experience in Fire Service Coordination
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A collaborative approach and strong team player mentality
- The ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt to changing demands and resolve problems quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- A mature, responsible and flexible attitude
